Minimizing pores- homemade recipes

Cleanse your face with a mild face wash. Then splash ice cold water over your face or alternatively rub an ice cube wrapped in a towel over your face. Cold ice constricts the facial muscles for a while and this action can shrink the pores temporarily. Then pat dry. You can then apply fresh lemon juice over your face, that is, if you do not have an extremely sensitive skin which is allergic to lemons. Lemon juice acts as an astringent which helps to close the pores.

Egg whites
are not just skin-tighteners but also excellent pore-shrinkers. Beat an egg white. Add a tsp of lemon juice to it. Then apply it evenly over your face until it dries and tightens around the skin. You may skip using lemon juice if you wish and use only a well-beaten egg white on your face. Wash it off with tepid water and a splash of cold water.

Blend apricot and tomato pulp to a paste and apply this mixture to your face.

Organic shell lip balm

Omg how cute is that??? I came across these recently and thought I'd post it up. Not only are they super cute and different but they do wonders for your lips.
They are made of certified organic coconut, macadamia and jojoba oils to rehydrate and protect your lips for a sexy pout. What make is even more special is the stylish shell, fastened by a shiny silver clasp that makes this a hot accessory for eco-conscious fashionistas. You can find more info here

dry damaged hair

Tips:
-Towel dry or air dry your hair instead of blowing drying it
-Use a shower cap after applying your conditioner and blow dry it - the heat opens up your hair cuticles and lets the conditioner work even deeper into the hair. Stylists suggest you use a leave-in conditioner at least twice a week.
-Use Neem oil, a moisturizing treatment
-Twist hair into a bun on top of your head, this will make your hair wavey and won't damage it. (air dry it)
-Get your hair trimmed every six to eight weeks to get rid of any split ends that may spread up the hair.
Limit the use of chemical treatments like perms, dyes, and relaxers to once every 8 to 10 weeks at the most.
-Avoid straightening your hair too often, instead towel dry your hair and, just brush your hair out and then brush again as you blow dry it.
- Use a wide-toothed comb to limit hair breakage. Don't ever brush wet or damp hair!
